Not close to the PC right now. Think Windows Sonic? I’ll check the ATMOS settings but realize my receiver can’t handle it, so I’m not sure if it will work or how downconverting will be (I remember problems with Xbox Series X using ATMOS).

I’m not an expert on receivers (haven’t used them), but your idea makes sense—passing cables from the GPU directly to the receiver and then to the TV could streamline the setup. This way, audio reaches the receiver first and video goes straight to the TV without needing an eARC conversion. I might be mistaken, but it could be useful if you try it.

It’s a more recent model which lacks HDMI 2.1 support, particularly for 4K at 144Hz or HDR.

Yes, you can utilize two cables—one HDMI for audio and another DP for your TV. Or, if your TV doesn’t support DP, you can connect one DP to the HDMI.
