you're working with a 250gb ssd on windows 10, and you want to dual boot windows 7 while keeping fallout running. the disk manager is limiting your partition size to about 75mb, which suggests you might need a different approach. since you're hardware-savvy, you could explore creating a bootable iso of windows 7 using tools like Rufus or Windows ISO creator, then boot from that instead of trying to shrink the existing volume. alternatively, consider using a live cd to install windows 7 and switch between the two operating systems during startup. let me know if you want step-by-step guidance on either method.

it prevents you from saving because the storage system placed data in the final sections. If I recall right, refreshing an SSD isn't ideal. You may have to use a more sophisticated tool to repair the file system during the process.

Well; if you're still aiming for a dual-boot setup, consider installing Windows on a different drive rather than another partition. Windows tends to be resistant when trying to set up bootloaders on the same disk. If you must re-partition, create a Gparted bootable drive using a CD or USB flash drive and proceed from there. Have a Windows installation media ready, as it could interfere with your bootloader setup based on your configuration.
