Attempted to modify the BIOS on a Gigabyte device, but USB ports and Bluetooth adapters are malfunctioning.
I've been receiving assistance from Gigabyte support, but they recommend trying the update with just one memory stick. The issue is that I'm unable to move and don’t have anyone nearby to help. Initially, the BIOS reported an update to F31, but it’s now reverting to F8 (which functioned properly before). I attempted switching from CSR Bluetooth to basic drivers, which caused the dongle to flash normally and the Bluetooth icon to appear in the notification tray, yet pairing remained impossible. The dongles are labeled as 'headset dongles' with both CSR or basic drivers. I’ve learned that some users resolved the problem by unplugging the computer and pressing the power button, but this only restored the old BIOS settings and didn’t fix the pairing issue. Here are the steps I followed before the problem: Update chipset driver to the latest version, install F31 BIOS via USB, use an EC FW Update Tool, and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
