I have two 4GB DDR3 RAM sticks and a friend provided an old 8GB DDR3 ARES stick. I installed it and changed the timing to link mode with a frequency of 800 MHz from 1333. Please assist and let me back into my PC, can I even use that extra ARES stick?
But, but but... it's unclear which system you're using. Who would guess? First, reset the CMOS/BIOS to factory defaults, then proceed with any changes.
