Hey there, you're dealing with a few tricky issues here. It looks like the motherboard doesn’t support WiFi, which is a bummer. You’re using a Qualcomm Atheros ar956x chipset, but it seems the system isn’t recognizing it properly. The CPU and RAM are fine, so the problem likely lies in the BIOS or driver setup. You’ve tried updating drivers via Device Manager and Windows updates, but still hit Error code 43. Checking the official ASRock documentation for your motherboard model might help, and maybe try a different USB port or cable to rule out hardware issues. If you want, I can guide you through troubleshooting steps or suggest compatible drivers.

Hello! This appears to be a hardware issue with code 43. It seems the card could be damaged. Have you checked if it functions on a laptop?

Unfortunately, the laptop I removed it from stopped functioning three years ago and hasn’t been powered on since. At the time it failed, the card was working, but now I only have partial information.

The AR956x is an outdated WiFi module with just one 2.4GHz radio for 802.11b/g/n. It's unlikely Windows 11 will work with it now. Consider upgrading to a contemporary M.2/2230 WiFi/BT module that matches your board.
