I'm working on fixing this computer for a friend over the past year. It keeps crashing, especially when playing CoD Warzone. I'm open to trying any method, even if I've used it before. I've replaced several parts: CPU, motherboard, RAM, and graphics card. In testing, I swapped with a different model: power supply, hard drive (SSD). I managed to recreate the problem at home using a 1080p monitor instead of his 1440p one. The issue happens in three steps: 1) Launching Warzone causes total freeze—no sound, video freezes, and the system shuts down. 2) Trying to boot triggers an error code on the CPU, and power cycling didn't fix it. He mentioned sometimes needing half an hour before he could start again. I re-seated the CPU and applied new thermal paste, which worked after reassembly. For the hardware, Windows 11 64-bit 22H2 is installed. Specifics: CPU – AMD Ryzen 7 5700G; Motherboard – MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II (MS-7C02); BIOS – E7C02AMS.H90; RAM – 2 x 8GB Hyper X Fury DDR4-3200 CL16 at 2400MHz; HDD – WD Blue SN550 M.2 NVME SSD; Graphics – Nvidia RTX 3070. I also downloaded a dump file from the latest incident.
