I possess the motherboard you mentioned, which includes a SATA expansion card that fits into it. If this component was absent, could it trigger the yellow DRAM indicator during startup before any data loads? I recently updated the BIOS without issues, and I noticed it. However, even after changing RAM from the list on Asus, it still didn<|pad|> to work. I haven’t installed more than one stick, replaced the CPU, and double-checked all connections to ensure it boots into BIOS. The only conclusion I’ve reached is that the SATA card might be missing or the board itself could be faulty, given I bought it from Newegg open box. (I’m aware this was a risky decision and won’t repeat it.)

DDR5 memory can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to fully learn. What RAM options do you have? Also, I believe the expansion card isn't connected to this process. RAM uses its own dedicated Memory Controller separate from PCIE management.

Yeah, I thought about it too. I was looking for something to try and DDR5 came up. I didn’t really wait that long, so I’m going to give it a shot. I remember hearing about Jay2cents having trouble with it during training for 10 minutes. Thanks for the tip!
