Hey everyone, I was checking my waterloop a few days back. Everything seemed fine so far and the electronics stayed safe. When I tried to reload my OC profile, my PC started acting up and a small water droplet landed near the mainboard, almost like it was trying to sneak onto the board. Reaching out to Asus gave me some advice: "Check eBay—maybe someone sells parts from their motherboard!" Asking for the schematics or bill of materials got cut off. Still, I get it. As a PCB designer in a small company, I’m pretty comfortable with motherboards but not sure what kind of PSU this is. It looks like something for PCIe and chipset connections, probably an IO-Driver unit. I know I could just buy a new board on eBay for a cheap price, but I put a lot of effort into customizing it myself—like modifying the socket to fit the delid die guard on the 8700K, tweaking the Vcore PSUs, and stripping all the RGB lights. My goal is to understand the layout before making any changes. You know, it’s always better to know what you’re fixing first. I’ve already ordered a replacement board to use as a reference for finding parts. Take care, Alex.
