Are there any others who have obtained the newest 4004 BIOS for their Asus X570 boards? I recently upgraded my WS X570 Pro ACE with a Ryzen 5950x this morning. Performance metrics remain stable—Cinebench and Geekbench scores are only marginally better under load, with a slight increase in stock voltage and higher temperatures. With PBO2 activated at the recommended limits and a Curve optimiser set to -10, -15, and -20, I’m achieving 4.3GHz across all cores and 5GHz on single cores, matching the performance of BIOS 3904. The maximum temperature stays around 75°C. So far, no instability or unusual behavior has been observed.
Audio stuttering happens occasionally, though it's rare. I've submitted a report through the Windows 11 Feedback Hub.
Looks reliable for me. Previously struggled with PBO but this model holds up at 4.5GHz across all cores with a consistent -10 curve tweak. The CPU caps at around 4.9GHz on single core, which has been the case since launch. No audio issues with my Sound Blaster ZxR, so I can't discuss stuttering. This setup uses an Asus X570 Dark Hero and 5950X.
It got upgraded recently and since then things have gone completely haywire. The system is now super unstable, keeps crashing and restarting, and I’m not even managing the original configuration. I turned off PBO too. My CPU is a 3700x, so I really need to roll back before it’s too late. Can’t rely on my web interface anymore.
I installed the newest 4101 A BIOS and it’s working well for me (I always reset CMOS after updating to set defaults and refresh, not sure if that matters). Scored a few hundred points in Cinebench and PBO improved slightly. The fTPM still lags but I know fixes won’t be available until May.
