Have you noticed similar issues with your Wi-Fi on this motherboard? Even though you're using the external antenna, the problem persists: online games like Runescape or Overwatch work briefly for a few seconds before freezing completely. You mentioned it seems to happen constantly, not just when connected to the guest house. It's interesting that playing on an older computer in the same location worked fine.
Do you possess a USB NIC Wi-Fi card that you might want to test?
I've never experienced problems with any Asus motherboards that have built-in Wi-Fi, maybe the drivers need an update. All my Wi-Fi issues seem linked to boards requiring a PCIe Wi-Fi card. It's not saying it's impossible, but it could be a software-related issue.
He mentioned that the comment seemed unrelated to an internet problem. It might point to another issue, so testing the theory is necessary. What do you think JM21?
That clarifies my reply, thanks. Could be a web problem, but maybe using HardwareMonitor while gaming could help identify the real cause.
also. when ever i test my internet speed there's a giant cliff right in the middle of it
I can't take screenshots directly. However, I can help you assess the situation by comparing internet speeds in different areas of your home. Let me know if you'd like guidance on testing or measuring speeds!
