Asus wifi trouble
Asus wifi trouble
You received a used Asus router from eBay, connected it to your main router, and powered it on. The admin page at 192.168.1.1 isn’t loading, yet you’re still connected to the router. Since the network interface isn’t accessible, setting a password won’t work. You’ll need to reset the router or contact the seller for the correct credentials.
You're connected to LAN 1 port. At times, it restricts your access to the firmware details.
You can link the router directly to your PC without using the Google Play app. After connecting, enter 192.168.1.1 in the browser, select LAN settings, and set the IP to a valid range. Each device gets its own static IP. You can configure passwords and other details here. After reconnecting, you should be able to reach it through your browser using the new IP address.
