I saw a forum user mention a new BIOS for this motherboard. I was using version 1405, while they were on 1407. I downloaded it but didn’t install it yet. I installed it today and noticed a big improvement—Cinebench R20 scored around 6700, which was disappointing. After tweaking XMP profiles and memory timings slightly, I reached about 7500. Now with the latest BIOS and stock settings, I’m seeing 7150, a jump of nearly 450 points. That’s impressive! If you’re hesitating about upgrading due to BIOS changes, this could be a good reason to go ahead.

They implemented a small shift in behavior, though it wasn't very significant.
