I've tested this setup with the Asus VG248QE. After connecting a new HDMI port that claims 8k at 60Hz, I only managed up to 60Hz on my second monitor using that cable. Once I rebooted my PC, it stopped working with two screens. Then I switched the HDMI to the main monitor in the title, and it reached 144Hz—so the cable can handle that speed. However, when I tried to use a 2.1 Display Port on the main monitor, I lost the ability to enable ELMB + sync. It seems the issue might be related to the display port configuration or driver settings. Let me know if you'd like help troubleshooting further.
