ASUS TUF Gaming board faces Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems.
This is my first time joining the forum, but I thought it would be a helpful space to ask for help. I just built my very first PC and it’s running smoothly overall—everything functions almost perfectly. The only hiccup is with the Wi-Fi. I’m using an ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Plus Wi-Fi II board and connected the included antenna to both coaxial ports. I installed Windows 10 via the official installer from Microsoft onto an SSD, but it doesn’t let me pick Wi-Fi as a setting, so I’m stuck using only Ethernet. The issue is that my house only has two Ethernet ports, located several rooms away behind walls, making it impossible to run a cable directly. I’ve updated the Intel drivers from ASUS, tried quick fixes through command prompts, and even used some community tips online, but nothing worked. I’m worried the motherboard might be faulty or something went wrong during assembly, even though I handled it carefully. Also, Bluetooth isn’t working—my Device Manager shows an “Error 43,” and I don’t have much guidance on that either. My mouse, keyboard, and headphones are all wired, so I’m not too worried about Bluetooth. If anyone has suggestions or solutions, please let me know.

1. Check if the BIOS has network settings enabled and ensure Wi-Fi is activated.
2. Use an older driver version; some updates can affect network cards, especially on ASUS devices.
3. Inspect the antenna connector pins for damage or misalignment—they can be tricky to install.
4. Use a Wi-Fi dongle to test if Windows can recognize another network card.
5. Consider Ethernet power line adapters as a workaround; they transmit Ethernet via electrical wiring, though performance may vary based on your home’s wiring.

The driver connection would be useful as well, especially when encountering similar problems.
