Hey! I haven’t seen many solid reviews for the ASUS TUF B650 Plus AM5 yet, and most seem to focus on the less popular Prime series instead. What’s your experience with it? Are you noticing any issues with memory performance or startup speed? Compared to the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX, how does it stack up in those areas?

Based on what I've seen, the Gigabyte models perform much better, while the Asus ones tend to fail quickly.

I believe upgrading to AM5 makes sense now. It’s worth considering for both performance and stability compared to the current DDR5 setup.

No, I think I shouldn't have upgraded; it was too costly.

It varies based on your current setup. With a solid system like me, you might want to hold off for the next generation AM5. A mid-range PC will offer more upgrade potential, though Intel remains a stronger option in many areas.

I'm currently driving the B450/5600X, so it makes sense to hold off on a full upgrade now. Doing all the CPU, motherboard, and RAM changes at once would cost less than getting an RTX 4070 Ti later. Also, it's a shame that upgrading to something newer would be more expensive than just getting a 4070.

It might be better to hold off. Or, you could upgrade to a 5800X3D and bypass several AM5 generations.

The 5600X paired with 3080 sounds great. I'm thinking about switching to something lower in that range.
