Asus TUF B560M with 10th gen CPU has issues with the top M.2 slot not showing an NVMe SSD. You might need to adjust the BIOS settings or check if the SSD is properly seated. Upgrading the CPU to the 11th generation could be a viable solution.

I saw it listed on the manufacturer's website. I haven't updated the BIOS yet.

Yeah, you're hitting on something real. It seems like some boards handle Gen3 speeds while others only support Gen4 or higher. That's pretty interesting!
