Hello! My personal laptop runs an ASU’s Vivobook Flip 14 (Model TM420IA). In short, I misplaced the BIOS password. Inside the machine I couldn’t locate a CMOS battery. I attempted to modify some pins as suggested online, but it didn’t work. I’m desperate for access before heading to a repair shop to replace the chip. Before doing that, I wanted to know if there are other troubleshooting steps or alternative options available, and whether a repair shop could handle this at a reasonable cost. I attached a photo of the laptop’s interior in case anyone can help identify something I missed. Thanks!

The device might not include a cr2032 cell; it could depend on a lithium battery instead. Taking out the battery doesn't ensure the password will be cleared.
