Hello Everyone, I’m trying to get some assistance. I’ve been using Netgear routers for years without any issues, but now I’m facing problems with my ASUS RT AC88U. The main issue is that my Wi-Fi devices in the house disconnect every 10 to 15 minutes, even though there’s no apparent cause. The usual reset doesn’t restore normal internet access, and strange devices still work fine. Another problem is my Wi-Fi printer is completely blocked by this router, making it unusable. I’ve followed all the ASUS instructions, but it still doesn’t work. As someone from South Africa spending nearly R5000 on a router that’s not functioning, I’m really frustrated with the after-sales support.
You might attempt resetting, unplugging, and then reconnecting. Verify the antennas are properly fastened. If the issue continues, isolate the device from the network and observe if the problem persists. Should it remain unresolved, return to the store for a replacement. These units have limited repair options before they become non-functional.
