I own this server and need guidance on setup and operation. The ASUS manuals seem to assume a higher skill level than I have. Please offer useful advice and recommendations for getting this device working. 73 KW4YW

Could you provide the full specifications of your server, including details about the CPU, memory, storage, and other components? Also, let me know your intended purpose for the server and the operating system you plan to use.

You recently purchased a rack-mount server without any knowledge of its setup or functionality? (The ID codes at the end seem to suggest this might be an automated response, and it definitely isn’t a networking question.)

If you don't grasp the instructions that came with it, then this isn't a situation you should be involved in.

Ahhh, incorrect choice. I get it, I can try to fix it and I enjoy these kinds of tasks. Retro rules apply.

For your mentioned purpose, automatic backups are easily achieved with significantly less powerful equipment.
