Hey everyone, I've been experiencing this problem with my setup lately. Sometimes when I shut down the system during the day, leave power on, and then attempt to restart, it displays a black screen at boot. On the motherboard, the green boot indicator stays lit but doesn't progress further. This also occurs after hardware modifications or frequent restarts. Occasionally XMP2 works, but sometimes it fails again with the same black screen and green light. I've even tried updating the BIOS to the latest version, but it still allows XMP and I ended up downgrading. It hasn't happened before, but now happens about once a week. The only fix I found was resetting the BIOS by removing the battery. I've tried removing various components without success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My specs: Motherboard - Asus ROG Z490 F Gaming (BIOS v2103) CPU - Intel i7 10700k - No overclocking CPU Cooler - Corsair H150i GPU - Asus TUF 3070 Ti RAM - 2 x DDR Hyperx Fury DDR4 RGB 16GB 3200 (one made in China, one in Taiwan) PSU - Corsair HX 850i (bought in 2016) Storage - 1. Boot - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250gb NVMe 2. Boot - Samsung 870 Evo 500gb SSD 3. WD mechanical Green 3TB 4. Seagate mechanical 250GB
