For water cooled setups I usually suggest focusing on upkeep rather than a minor gain in speed. The performance change between these options is negligible, so it wouldn’t be worthwhile.

I recently purchased a new SSD, and everything seems to be working smoothly. The 1TB unit fits in the same slot as before, while the 2TB model is now in the water-cooled compartment and operates perfectly. The graphics card continues to run on X16. The only challenge left is removing the old Windows setup. Even after formatting the SSD, it still prompts me to choose the installation each time I use @RONOTHAN## or @Robchil's suggestions and tried various configurations before reconnecting everything. Now that I can adjust pump speeds (maybe a bit silly), I feel more confident about not worrying about draining and refilling the system.

I’ve experienced this before, though the details are fuzzy. If you’re dealing with a boot manager on a drive without one, you’ll likely have to perform a full disk format via the command line—remembering commands like diskpart clean might help. When the system boots and prompts about the Windows installer, you’ll need guidance on managing the boot settings. It probably involves using msconfig.exe, but you’ll want to check the documentation for precise steps, as this has been a few years since I last needed to do it.

Sure, I'll take a closer look at this in the coming days. I'm confident I can sort it out completely right now, which means I'm glad I can complete the setup and begin using the new machine.
