TL;DR: Motherboard isn't responding after multiple troubleshooting attempts and a full rebuild. Boots up on integrated graphics but not via keyboard. UEFI works when using splash screen, but keyboard input fails. GPU fans run, CPU fans don't, and display issues persist. I've tried reseating components, updating BIOS, checking connections, and even using a different RAM stick. Still stuck on memory setup and UEFI access. I'm seeking advice from others who might have faced similar problems.

You've already tested most possibilities and seem to suspect the CPU could be the issue. Checked for bent pins, but the UEFI should confirm if it recognizes the CPU and RAM correctly.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I've done everything just shy of pretty much rebuilding the entire thing again. When I first did the test boot everything was showing up correctly. The only variable I can think of that changed was enabling EXPO (dumb of me, I should've looked into it more before doing that). I enabled EXPO since it was stating that my RAM speed would be 4800 but after purchasing DDR5 6000... well.. I wanted the 6000. I guess I flew too close to the sun. After reading online I did see a ton of people mentioning that they've been having a lot of issues with EXPO being enabled hence why I tried clearing the CMOS but still nothing.

I don't believe EXPO would have handled that, a CMOS reset might have resolved it. It seems more likely the device was near failure or only partially functional, so repair was possible. Did you adhere to those CMOS reset instructions? https://rog.asus.com/support/FAQ/1040820 Do you have any spare parts or another machine to test the components?

This guidance is excellent. Also, keep the CMOS reset in line with the clock timing—it may take some time for it to fully reset.

I’ll definitely give it another attempt and stick to the steps carefully, updating the forum once I’ve tested it. My PC has stopped working completely lately, which is why I’m upgrading now. I already own two units that aren’t functioning! (Yay) Your tips are appreciated—I’ll definitely consider them. If anyone else has ideas not shared here, I’m open to hearing them.
