I attempted to connect my earphones via a 3.5mm jack to a USB-type port on the motherboard, but only static is present. It seems there might be an issue with the connection or the hardware. Check if everything is properly seated and consider testing with another device. If the problem persists, you may need to troubleshoot further or consult support.

Are you asking if the USB to 3.5mm adapter is a digital-to-analog converter or simply a translator? You’ll want something that includes DAC functionality to work with your PC’s standard C port.

It connects to a 3.5mm input on one side and outputs to a C-type device on the other. If you connect a DAC, it should work for playing music.
