I just received a brand new motherboard and installed an AM5 setup with a Ryzen 9 9950x3d. I tried booting Windows but it’s not working because the system says something went wrong. I need internet to enter the pin code, but I’m stuck without it. My LAN cable is plugged in and I have the WiFi antenna connected, yet nothing appears. It looks like I need to download the LAN and WiFi drivers from ASUS. I checked their website, but only for Intel products. I own a laptop and a USB drive, but I’m unsure how to access Windows without an internet connection. How do I install the drivers? Also, it seems the fan headers weren’t soldered properly, so I had to adjust the BIOS settings to ignore the fan.

If they omitted the fan headers, they also skipped other adjustments. Avoid relying on generic drivers; consider getting a new board from any retailer or Asus. It's been quite some time since I encountered such issues—hopefully they didn’t complete the design and you won’t need to download network drivers at all. Only worry about drivers if the board still doesn’t work as expected.

It seems like they won't face tax issues and will compensate with excellent customer service. Almost there.

You just got a fresh mobile, but your internet remains blocked despite connecting via LAN.

You now possess fan headers. Obtain the drivers from the website on your laptop and move them to a USB drive. The Intel models are likely using the network chip in the motherboard, possibly produced by Intel, rather than the CPU manufacturer.

You're experiencing the same problem with the same motherboard again—have you found a fix for this issue?
