I have an i7 7700k on the way... I really like the look of the Taichi, but I found a crazy deal on the VIII Hero. Which should I go for? Is there any reason I should choose the Taichi? Compatibility issues? Taichi=$195 VIII Hero-$158 + Free $60 case and Mousepad (CRAZY)

Choose the Hero model but also consider this one from pcpartpicker.com. It may work better with the Kaby CPU because of its Z270 compatibility.

The cost is higher for that item. The only reason I’m thinking about the VIII Hero is because of the amazing offer.

It may need a BIOS upgrade to function properly. I don’t know if you can install it directly without a compatible CPU.
