The Asus X570 Prime Pro supports two M.2 slots, but only one has a heat sink. You can use both NVMe SSDs with this motherboard, or you could opt for one NVMe and one SATA 3.
It’s simple to fill both slots. When they’re active they remove SATA lanes, but with just two NVMe drives this isn’t a problem. The absence of a heat sink in the second M.2 slot is also fine. You’re all set here.
