I've been using the Asus PCE-AC68 AC1900 PCI-E WiFi card for quite some time. Recently, we installed a Nighthawk modem and everything else works fine, but my card keeps stuttering. It seems it struggles with 5GHz channels, which is what the Nighthawk is designed for. The connection drops every ten seconds during games. I'm reaching out because I'm looking for a reliable WiFi card or adapter compatible with Windows 10 that provides a stable 5GHz connection—can recognize multiple channels and maintain a steady link. Most online reviews claim great performance, but the ones I find often mention connectivity issues. I saw a Broadcom driver listed (version 7.35.118.83), but I'm hesitant to download it from unverified sites. The Broadcom website is hard to navigate, so I'd appreciate any guidance or links that could help me avoid buying another card.
