Asus motherboard compatible with 7800x3D platform
I bought an ASUS motherboard and the 7800X3D for a project. I've already installed the CPU, but I've seen some online videos warning about damage to CPUs and boards when using this setup. Should I be concerned?
The BIOS updates don't resolve the problems; they were addressed in later versions. I might consider other boards instead, as there are more affordable alternatives.
Referenced earlier, updating the BIOS ensures safety. I personally use this board and have tested it in several other configurations without problems, even with an X3D CPU. It remains stable, free of crashes, and the WIFI and Bluetooth function excellently. The VRM cooling also performs well.
The TUF boards appear to be of good quality. Asus slightly affected the milk with their prime series on the Am5, unfortunately.
