It didn’t save the main C driver, which is disappointing since it just erases it. Regarding the other issue… the Windows 10 reset caused a lot of frustration for me!

Try a fast format to help retrieve your files. Check the C drive for Windows.old or run windstat to find any backup locations.

Sorry, there are no old windows files on the drive. It seems like a complete reset happened, and the only way to recover it is through software, provided the hard drive firmware decides to create new sectors for better durability.
