Asus Hyper X featuring four 2.0 MB SSDs – Asus Zenith II Extreme
Hey everyone! I accidentally got the same board as Linus in his "no compromise" setup. I needed four 2.0 MB SSDs on my Hyper X 2.0 16 v2 card, but it looks like the most expensive motherboard from that brand doesn’t support them. I already have four drives in the PCIe slot, and they all work fine when using RAID mode (not 16x). In the first PCIe slot I can switch to 4x4x4x4, but the BIOS doesn’t let me set that up. It seems I might be missing something or someone has a solution. I tried different configurations and the drives appear in Device Manager under Windows, but not in the usual layout, and I can’t access them. There are also other devices on that PCIe slot that aren’t installable. Unfortunately, there are no drivers available for the Asus Hyper X card. I just want four separate 2.0 MB drives, not necessarily in RAID. Thanks!
