Hey, I noticed your daily driver setup has been having problems after upgrading to the 1650 GPU. For a while it worked fine, but recently it keeps trying to perform a disc scan during startup. Recently I tried to post and it won’t work at all. I changed the CMOS battery and cleared what I thought was the CMOS, even letting it run for about 20 minutes with fans spinning and RGB on, but nothing happened. Now it boots normally but shows an Intel Rapid Storage screen—something new for me. My PC has an i7-4790 with 16GB DDR3 and a custom H9u-i motherboard, which has been fine until now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally, while posting, I’m seeing a display about Intel Rapid Storage Technology, thinking it might have RAID support, but once I close the window I don’t notice anything.
Check the hard drive for performance improvements. It might be a dead drive, which often causes noticeable slowdowns.
The issue seems to be that the files aren't being uploaded to the BIOS despite having two brand new 1TB SSDs, and they function properly otherwise.
However, the board is still dead, yet I can access Intel Rapid Storage before anything else. There’s an option to press Control+I and configure RAID, but I’m stuck and can’t find any other settings. Since they no longer produce parts for this PC, I’m really at a loss.
