Hi everyone, I just purchased an Asus CS-B motherboard to pair with an i5-4440 chipset. I think it should work, but I’m having trouble getting it up and running. When the CPU is installed, nothing appears on the monitor—just a DP output that vanishes instantly, and the fan keeps spinning. I tried using a beep code only when RAM is removed, which shows an error, otherwise it’s silent. I also extracted the BIOS chip to load it into a programmer, but I can’t see the BIOS menus despite the output. To be honest, I’m comfortable with computers, but this is my first full build from scratch and I’m unsure what steps to take next.
