1. MyASUS app keep bothering me wants me to update something everytime I boot my laptop 2. I need myASUS app so I can set my battery max health/lifespan mode, upon uninstalling it reverts back to asus default battery plan which increases wear level of my battery as shown in hwinfo, laptop is barely 3 months old, it is already 4.3%. Laptop orange light indicates charhing when plugged into wall, laptop consumes charge when turned off also when plugged in. Lights indicates that 3. When I use myasus app, max lifespan mode protects battery health as far as I see in status lights by not charging everytime. Uninstalling myasus app reverts that, which damages battery 4. Armory Crate doesnt work properly even when installed cleanly, Manual fan curve cannot be set and/or it conflict with windows power plans. I don'want to remove my custom made power plans just to make it work asus software. I want to use both in same time. 5. Armory Crate did suddenly increases everything during manual fan curve status, both voltage and temps rises in seconds. Same in BIOS as well, cannot take a look into my BIOS settings because laptop cooks itself to the death when I inside of the BIOS. 6. Armoury Crate "slient" power plan does the same, both voltage, temps magically doubles in seconds so there is no time to set things right cuz laptop literally nearly fries itself if I dont switch back to "windows" template which corrects the errors I mentioned then everything went back to normal in seconds 7. This is a asus zep g15 rog ga503rm, fans starts spinning at 60c, both gpu and cpu, I guess thats normal, because there is no way to control ny fans on this cursed laptop. Dont want to use fancontrol as it modifies control settings 8. I need myasus so I can contro battery but updates keep makes things worse I dont even know what or which update is these, I do NOT want to update anything. I turned off essential updates from myasus app settings, did not do any difference. Is this laptop cursed somehow? Why I'm having these strange problems after paying like a fortune? Can anyone help?

So I turned off driver updates and delayed feature updates, then reinstalled the myasus app from the ms store. I think that was a clean install since I also ran a clean cache command via powershell. Thank god gpedit.msc! It seems there is a self repair feature built into myasus too. I checked the fan and it went up to 6500RPM, but the results said zero problems, so that's good. UPDATE: It no longer asks me to download updates; I think I downloaded the updated version in the package.

Just right click on Start, choose Task Manager, go to Autostart, and uncheck every single box. Yes, remove "myAsus" because you don't need it. You aren't uninstalling anything; you're just disabling it. If you keep using that battery without unplugging the laptop often, you'll get a lot of bloatware like "myAsus." Even after three years, your battery might only be 10% better off. So skip this battery care program because it's too much trouble and pain.

Thanks a lot, can you point me to the exact spot for my laptop's SSD? Is it under the keyboard or near the touchpad? So far I found that the CPU sits right below the screen in the middle. But I really need to know where the SSD is so I can get a cooling pad underneath. As for my Asus thing, I checked with software and everything looks fine: the ssd, fan, battery, and system are all okay. The only problem now is that the SSD ASIC gets hot, around 55c-60c when it sits idle but hits 68c-70c while gaming. A cooling pad might help a bit since I can't fix this at the repair shop right now or buy a new one yet.

Cooling pads are totally pointless, they only lower the temperature by maybe 1 to 5 degrees if you happen to use them right. When your laptop is off and sitting there idle, it gets hot around 55 to 60 degrees, but when you're gaming or doing heavy work, that jumps up to about 68 to 70 degrees—that's completely normal stuff I've seen before. My top advice? If you never actually plug in your battery (like if you keep them plugged into a charger all the time), then you absolutely don't need any cooling pad apps. So just go ahead and uninstall all those extra Asus programs and other bloatware. That will also stop you from getting those unnecessary updates.

I downloaded a tool from the official WD website to check how well my laptop's SSD is working, since it was a WD brand drive. After running an extended SMART test, everything looked fine and the tool only listed two sensors: one reading around 58 degrees celsius and another at 43 degrees celsius. When I checked with HWinfo, three sensors showed up, including an ASIC controller that sometimes gets hot near 70 degrees. This specific sensor isn't even on the WD software list. Should I trust the tool from WD or the data from HWinfo?
