Asus Chromebox 3 with Intel i3 processor and Pop OS audio setup.
I've set up my Asus Chromebox 3 i3 Intel as a Linux machine with Pop OS. Everything appears functional—Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work perfectly. However, audio is completely missing; the sound panel only shows "Dummy Output." I have an HDMI monitor with speakers and headphones plugged into the front audio jack, but nothing comes through. As a beginner in Linux, I’m unsure what might be causing this issue. Any suggestions on how to get audio working?
It appears there was an issue during the installation of your audio driver. You should hear any sound when connected to the headphone jack.
There’s no sound through the headphones. It seems the operating system isn’t recognizing the hardware. Do you know if there’s a Linux version of Device Manager? Since you didn’t attempt driver installation, it might be hard to figure out the next steps.
