Thank you very much for your kind words. I appreciated your feedback and understood you were seeking a second perspective before proceeding.
Visiting the CPU support section of the motherboard is an effective method to determine if a processor is compatible. Keep in mind that when new CPUs are released after a motherboard, it usually requires a BIOS update to enable support for the latest chip. On the page you referenced, the "Validated since BIOS" section indicates the BIOS version that a specific processor has been supported with.
I understand. I already have the newest BIOS on my device, and an update shouldn't cause any issues. Previously I hesitated about updating the BIOS, but now I'm comfortable with it and it's no longer a concern. Updating the BIOS has become much simpler compared to 25–30 years ago. Thank you for your guidance—I really value your advice.
It looks like the new BIOS should work fine since the AM4 chips won’t be released anytime soon. The 5800X3D is the final model for that platform, unless AMD decides to add more 3D cache chips. I’m skeptical about that because of the shift to AM5 sockets and upcoming designs next year.
I own the Strix -F and 5900X, and the board handles CPU usage effortlessly. Full capacity is achievable.
