You just completed your AMD build with the Ryzen 7 5800X on the ASUS ROG Strix X570-F. All automated BIOS features were enabled, and you're not planning to proceed with overclocking. Is this tool needed? It promises to fine-tune many parameters such as TPU, EPU, Digi+ VRM and fans. It appears to focus on PBO settings and doesn’t show the AMD Power Plans despite successful driver installation. How can you resolve this issue?

Install Ryzen Master. Power plans might appear after installation. If they don’t show, navigate to Program Files (X86) → AMD → Chipset Drivers → IO drivers → Ryzen PPKG → AMD PPM settings. Double-click the .exe file.

Did you set up the AMD chipset drivers? That should display the Ryzen power plan. The Asus AI suite isn't required.

Thank you for your feedback. I removed AI Suit and set up Ryzen Master, but didn't apply any AMD-specific plans. I'm sticking with the standard Balanced, High Performance, and Power Saving profiles. I installed all AMD drivers myself from the ASUS version, which is an older release. Besides sound cards, I prefer AMD or Intel drivers over the motherboard's manufacturer options.

I've reviewed the information. It appears AMD power plans don't offer significant advantages over the default settings, and in some scenarios they might even be inferior. I didn't claim expertise, just that I recently switched from Intel after nearly 14 years. Watching a few YouTube videos didn't show any improvement or worse, negative outcomes with AMD.

YouTube is fine for linking. On older processors, the AMD power plan could have a noticeable impact—likely just a small percentage, maybe around one percent or less.
