I have a Chinese version of the Asus Strix white 3090, but it has damaged the SSD chips on two Asus Z590 boards. Both my Asus Gundam board and Asus Z590-A board experienced Gen4 drive failures soon after installing this graphics card. Asus is refusing to service it either, so I’m left with a costly problem—I can’t use it in my PC anymore. Anyone know what options I have besides discarding it? I could sell it, but I don’t want to place an unnecessary burden on anyone else.

Don't just insert random Chinese content without understanding how it works. I've tested it on different hardware, and based on my experience, it performs well. Besides that, they're solid for stopping doors and have a nice appearance on walls (also from experience).

It wasn't mentioned as a random Chinese 3090, just the Chinese version of the ASUS Strix 3090.

she bought it from ebay in 2021 without any clues about a chinese version. the first issue appeared a year later. after switching it to my wife's computer, no problems showed up, but within a week her system wouldn't boot properly and only worked with a gen 3 drive. when i tried it on another machine, the board failed similarly after a week, using the same parts from my old z590 asus tuf board. the main issue seemed to be the gpu.
