I'm experiencing low RAM usage while handling AI tasks and multitasking. The speed is a concern, and I'm unsure about my CPU's capabilities. My goal is to maximize performance so I can use the RAM efficiently for longer periods. I currently have two 8GB sticks.

For an upgrade, faster performance is possible, but anything over 3200/3600 is essentially a waste. CL18 still works well, though CL16 isn't too costly and offers decent value. How many slots are filled? Or is your system limited to just two? What speed does your Kingston processor run at, and could you find a similar model again? (Unless the manufacturer changed chips for that specific version)

To dive deep into Stable Diffusion and possibly Flux rendering, you'll need more than 32GB of memory. I was using 32GB recently and still faced problems: my RAM would reach nearly full capacity, causing the system to become almost unusable for a few seconds while loading finished, before rendering began. After some investigation, I discovered that users with more than 32GB rarely experienced this issue. Instead of doubling the RAM, I upgraded to a 2x48GB configuration and was pleased with the results. My Task Manager displayed normal activity during early rendering sessions after installing the new RAM and optimizing Stable Diffusion. If you're planning a full rendering project and want to push performance further, consider a 4x16GB setup if possible within your budget. This configuration is manageable on AM4 systems and can significantly improve speeds compared to older DDR4 setups. For regular SD/SDXL models, 32GB should suffice without problems. Prices for DDR4 chips have recently risen slightly, but a 3600 or 4000MHz model (with appropriate clock speeds) remains ideal. For standard configurations, 32GB is more than adequate.
