I just read a Reddit post saying WiFi adds 20ms latency. Right away I thought about MoCa as the solution. The situation was clear—don’t rely solely on Reddit; run your own tests or research.

Some websites provide incorrect information. If you don’t have nearby neighbors, you can switch Wi-Fi channels. Using non-overlapping channels helps avoid interference with others’ networks. It might be worth trying a few different settings.

They could have used the time more productively by installing holes and laying Ethernet cables. The property is yours—are you not leasing it? Then drilling holes isn’t really an alternative.

The house belongs to my mother, and I won't last long if I start making obvious holes... The real issue is the router is in the living room, making it super noticeable. Since I'm planning to move out in 1-2 years, I think it's fine to make a small sacrifice now.
