I recently acquired a used HP Z440 motherboard and placed it inside a Define R5 case. I’m facing difficulties locating the power, reset, and HDD light wires in the 26-pin layout near the bottom left corner. I haven’t managed to identify a specific pin yet, and finding the front UI to trace wires with a multimeter is proving challenging. Could anyone offer guidance or assistance?

HP, like other non-ATX prebuilt makers, can sometimes be quite harsh with the materials. The components are often just randomly appearing, though they usually end up saving a few cents per board by cutting costs during production. You might find a diagram online somewhere.
