I've configured the Win10 hard disk to enter idle mode after 5 minutes. The setup uses a JBOD with 24 drives, no RAID, just long-term storage for media. There are no drives running continuously at full capacity. I own an LSI SAS HBA controller and a SAS expander to link the six drive backplains to the MB. Adjusting Windows power settings alone isn't enough because the HBA is blocking spin-down. I found instructions suggesting using RegEdit to enable this feature, but haven't been successful yet. Appreciate anyone helping!
