I recently purchased the mentioned player for my rig, but I’m not sure about the cable type to request. The T C-Type cable should come from the back, requiring a female connector on one end and a type A plug on the other. Was this correct? When I asked at a local office supply store, they didn’t understand what I needed. Then I checked Amazon, but their description was confusing. Now I’m unsure which to buy. Can someone please advise me? I’m 73 with dementia issues and would really appreciate your help. Thank you.
check if your computer has a USB C port or not.
if it does, use a USB C to USB C cable.
if not, use a USB A to USB B cable.

After everything, I just wanted to follow up with you and let you know I'm still searching for that female C to Male A cable for this device. I've received four shipments from Amazon, one from Staples Office Products, but no one can provide a cable matching my description. Could it be they don't stock it due to some incompatibility? I've purchased two adapters myself, which I prefer because they offer a cleaner connection. Here are the items:

the question refers to a setup where the female character is assigned to the player, and the male character is assigned to the PC.
What is coming out of the back is a C USB plug. Where I want to plug it in (on top of my rig) there are type A receptacles. I don't know what else to write. There are only 5 inches of cable coming out of the player. I cannot use it that way and that is why I need the extension. My PC has A ports.
This product is an adapter compatible with Samsung chargers, designed for use with JXMOX chargers.
