Assistance needed (Windows 10 LTSC stuck)
Sure, I didn't pay much attention to the video because it's just about the installation process. If you're concerned about warranty, it's safe to proceed. If you want to follow the video instructions, that's okay too. Generally, I recommend using Rufus with a USB drive for a clean install. If you don't have a USB drive, the video's steps should work. Good luck!
It doesn't really guarantee success, does it? I'm not sure if it's possible at all. Downloading Windows and installing the ISO?
The video demonstrates a straightforward and easy-to-follow method. You'll receive a fresh Windows copy, and your physical warranty remains valid. However, if you prefer, it might be wiser to have someone else handle the removal, reinstallation, or renewal process. I'm not suggesting you can't do it yourself, but having recovery and troubleshooting tools ready is essential for any OS-related work.
I'm checking the steps carefully to see if they match what's in the video. If I'm unsure, I won't proceed. If you're also unsure, thank you for your effort.
I completed the installation of Windows 11 22H2 on my laptop. I already had it installed, but a bug in the NVIDIA drivers prevented an update. I opted for a longer update path to check what changed on my AMD machine that didn’t receive the update. No data was lost, and backing up is always a good idea. This time it didn’t destroy the GRUB or Linux partition (though a fresh install would have wiped everything).
Pirate windows comes with LTSC edition, and many of these versions end up in these pools because LTSE keys are popular among companies. These stores are aware of it.
