Hey there! Just wanted to address a few points (in case anyone has faced similar issues before). If you need clarification on the following, your question would be helpful: Is FAT32 the preferred USB pendrive format, or is exFAT acceptable instead? There’s a note about needing a USB 2.0 device for the flash—anyone know? Also, does USB 3.0 work with this board? Here’s the board link you shared: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Gh3NnQ/...aming-wifi. Thanks a lot!

Using FAT32 works fine, exFAT isn't an issue. Just ensure it's connected via USB-A. Enjoy!

I understood. It seems the formatting issue was on Windows, so I used a USB live Linux installation and reformatted another drive to Fat32. Good luck!

Curiously, the system didn’t support that formatting method on Windows. I’ve always used its built-in tools without any problems.

It only offered exfat and ntfs formats, and after years as a Windows user I’ve lost track of the steps. But with GParted on Linux, I can easily remove everything and convert it to 32fat in just a few clicks without any problems.

When you simply click the drive in Windows and choose Format FAT32, that option should appear. Even if it doesn’t, it still functions.

Well apparently that's different kind windows i guess, i didn't have that option. Either way doesn't matter because i live on linux now so it's not important for me anyway. This issue only occurred when i didn't have device with me.
