In short, I must return my motherboard to ASUS for an RMA. I don’t have the CPU cover plate anymore—my guess is it got lost, maybe the child played with it, or even eaten it. ASUS’s repair rules are pretty strict if the plate isn’t with the board when I bring it back. Need advice on getting a replacement plate.

Did you refer to the bracket? The AM4 model lacks a CPU cover plate—it isn't an LGA design.

It doesn’t seem like am4 is available there. You probably won’t need it. I came across it on eBay, maybe it could help you.

I’m not sure at all; it seems any LGA1151 cover should work. If there’s doubt about RMA approval, reach out to ASUS for their guidelines.
