I connected my USB to the school computer, but all my files turned into shortcuts. They’re still there, but I can’t view them and the hidden files option isn’t working. In other apps I can see my files, but not in Windows. How can I fix this?

It seems the files weren't copied to the USB drive but instead a shortcut was made on your computer. This method functions only when the USB is connected and the file is located at the shortcut's destination. It won't work on other devices since the shortcut points to an invalid location there.

It remains visible, though I’m having trouble viewing it. I applied 17g, but nothing appears in the file on Windows.

Navigate to the folder option, choose Display System Files. Alternatively, launch the command prompt with admin privileges, then move to the pendrive's root folder and execute attrib -s -h -r
