Hi everyone,
I'm just getting started with the 3DMARK benchmark and wanted some advice. Could anyone help me see if the results I got after overclocking on a stable system are actually strong compared to others? I checked online and it said I'm 92% better than other scores, but I'm a bit cautious and want to make sure I get the most out of my new card and setup.
I'm not sure if this will work...

I only seem to reach 60-68c so far.
Thanks in advance,
James

Yes, sorry was meant to imply I've seen other people's results come back at the 12000+ results. That’s what I’m trying to understand. Well, you need to check if there are any sli results and that’s what I notice for them over 12000+. Then you have to consider any overclocking they used on their CPU, especially when dealing with 'K' processors, and how they managed to get those cards overclocked. I can push my card to achieve a great run of firefight to earn a bragging score. Look here—there’s something about selecting the number of GPUs. Use the quick filters: ‘Number of GPUs’—set it to 1 or scroll down until you see the single card scores. For me, the first single card score was 4951 and it was...

7000-7500 is typical for a 6700k plus 1080 GTX setup. I just looked it up for you.

Yes, sorry was intended to suggest I've observed other people's outcomes in the 12000+ results. That’s what’s puzzling me. You need to examine the sli results and that’s what I notice for them above 12000+. Then you have to consider any overclocking they applied to their CPU, especially when dealing with processors labeled as 'K' and how they managed to get those cards overclocked.

I can push my card to achieve a strong run of FireStrike for bragging purposes. Check this out: there’s something about choosing the number of GPUs. Use the quick filters—look at “Number of GPUs.” Select 1 or scroll down until you find the single card scores. For example, the first single card score was 8376 with a result number of 4951.

Here’s the link: http://www.3dmark.com/search#/?mode=adva...Name=Intel Core i7-6700K&gpuName=NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

With that info, your score looks good and could be much better.
