I recently assembled a new PC and everything functioned properly. The latest BIOS and Windows 11 were installed successfully. However, once I set it up on the home screen and tried basic tasks like opening File Explorer or navigating files, performance slowed down and stuttered often. I updated the graphics driver and chipset, but the problem persisted. After resetting Windows 11 and repeating the steps—installing BIOS, drivers, and trying different configurations—I still faced issues. My initial suspicion was about RAM or the SSD, but after checking with CPUID and adjusting DOCP settings, I wasn’t sure anymore. A UserBenchmark test confirmed the processor lagged. There were no overheating signs, cables seemed intact, and the build looked solid. I’m a beginner builder, so I’m unsure if I missed something or made a mistake. I’ll share my specs now and appreciate any advice.

Verify your advanced power options in Windows. It’s possible your minimum CPU power is locked at 100%, which should range between 0-5%. This setting prevents CPU cores from increasing and may lead to significant performance problems. These are the specific power configurations I’m referring to.

Check if power configurations are accurate and verify that both RAM modules are placed properly—should be positions 1 and 2, not 3 and 4 or any other random spots. If the CPU still struggles, there might be an underlying issue.
