Hello, I have a GTX 1060 with 6GB of graphics memory and 8GB of RAM installed in a single channel configuration, paired with a Ryzen 5 2400G processor. The game initially runs smoothly but then experiences lag and frame drops to 20 frames per second. Could this be due to the single-channel RAM? My CPU usage typically reaches 90% at its highest point.

Could you describe your visual settings? Running the game at a high level can frequently cause brief performance drops, particularly in areas with numerous objects to display—like a marketplace with many characters or when surrounded by other vessels at sea. Increasing your memory to 16 GB and utilizing dual-channel RAM would likely improve your overall frame rate.

I'm running it with maximum graphics settings, and it performs well in wooded areas. However, when I enter cities, the frame rate drops significantly to around 20 frames per second. That's why I’m inquiring. Is this typical, and are there any solutions to improve performance?
