Hello, I've heard about registering a Russian account and downloading games there. Some people also mention purchasing keys from third-party Russian sites. I noticed the price seems much lower—around 26 euros instead of 60. It's curious how that works. I'm not sure if the game is accessible in my region, but language isn't an issue for me.

Seems like fake or unauthorized keys... I’d steer clear of those.

You're referring to the high prices of Russian games available on official Ubisoft or Epic Games stores. It makes you wonder if there are other options with discounts or alternatives.

There are some area-specific rates. Typically Steam and similar platforms enforce regional restrictions using these systems. It doesn’t tie to your account directly, but depends on your ISP’s location. To enjoy region-locked titles, you’d likely need a VPN. Because of this, services often block accounts if VPN usage is detected. Personally, I’m torn about these options. I don’t like the current pricing structure, especially when it feels inconsistent (like prices in Euros versus USD). In the past, I used an Indian Origin account to get the BF4 season pass at a reduced cost, but then regulations were less strict.

I'm doing the same with Steam. I used a VPN to register a Russian Steam account and now I mainly buy games at a lower price whenever something cheap appears. But I think it might work with Ubisoft too—some forums mentioned someone got a gift key from a Russian friend. The game works, but it's locked in Russian language, so I'm wondering if that's the same now since Russian isn't an issue.
